Installing and connecting gas appliances is NOT a DIY project!
To install and connect gas appliances, a plumber / gas fitter has to be certified In accordance with AS/NZS5601.1:2010 Gas installations, Part 1 General installations.
Natural gas is not the same as LP Gas! LP Gas must not be used in natural gas appliances and vice versa. An appliance hooked up to the wrong type of gas can be dangerous.

Can you smell gas inside your home? You need an emergency gas fitter!
If you are worried about a suspected gas leak inside your home:

open all the doors and windows for ventilation

ensure everyone is outside the house (including your pets)

don’t delay in contacting Howzat Plumbing - we are fully licensed and accredited gas fitters

turn off the gas supply at the mains gas valve (we can step you through this over the phone)

DO NOT use candles, lighters or matches inside or outside the house

DO NOT not try to find the source of leak
